Why is Postreqrl better than the regular Access database? Is it worth the trouble to convert the histories?

My small 100 MB database loads in 1/2 the time it did with the Access version. If your DBs are large, i.e. 600 MB, I expect you would see a tremendous improvement in performance with the PostgreSQL version.
