Default Am I missing value here?

BB is 45/15 but I know nothing about his postflop play. On this board, I usually take this same line with KK, QQ, or a T.

PREFLOP:
Hero open-raises in the cutoff with A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Only the BB calls.

FLOP: A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
BB bets, Hero calls.

TURN: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
BB bets, Hero calls.

RIVER: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
BB bets, Hero calls.

Had he checked on any street, I would have bet.

What would you have done differently?

How would you have handled KK, QQ, or a T?

Thanks,
Cartman

I like raising the river here, but your kicker sucks a fat one.
KK, QQ, JJ, or Tx would be played just as you played your ace here.

I'd be more inclined to raise the turn with a T but like your line for your hand and KK QQ.

i think this is an easy preflop fold though.

v a 45 vpip u have little steal equity, the 15 suggests he is aggro (no fun if he plays back) and the ragged kicker means u dominated a fair bit and A means opponent more likely to play correctly (unlike AQ where he pays you off when an A flops and he has Ax or JTs where you can represent A and connect with flops he thinks missed you). and you're in co

Hi Cartman,

I normally fold A3o in the CO unless button and blinds are tight.

Postflop I like it. I don't see what a raise accomplishes. He isn't going anywhere with a better ace. He is folding a bluff. He's probably giving up 88/77.

If I am going to raise anywhere it's at the river, folding to a 3bet.

Why is this? Because your T is more vulnerable to overcards? Because you can easily fold to a 3-bet?

the former. i don't mind a 2 or 3 outer, but a possible 6+ outer i prefer to raise versus, and i get value when it calls and beaucoup value when it folds. although the difference v his range of hand isn't that pronounced with KK as opposed to a T, so I am not sure raise turn w/ T is obviously better but I think it is best
