D-Backs finally get it right.

The Diamondbacks have been a lackluster team the last month or so. But they did save some face by winning tonight against mighty Tony and his Gang of Nine Cardinals. It was a great game with Gonzo winning it on a botton of the ninth homer against Ray King, final 2-1. The game last night was also very good but the D-backs lost, they had a chance to win or tie in the bottom of the ninth but H. Cruz flyed out to deep right. Both the last two games have been pitching duels and were excellent games to watch, IMO.

St. Louis looks like a good team. But looks don't win World Series. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Perhaps my early prediction that the D-backs will win 90 games this year will not pan out. So be it. At least they are more fun to watch than the Mariners. They really suck. And it gives my no pleasure to say that.
