Top pair vs passive.
BB is a fish. Extremely loose and passive. Plays 70% of hands and never folds his blinds. Im not giving up this hand in my SB but its not good enough to raise imo as this guy will calldown to at least the turn with any 2.
How should i play this hand? Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 3 folds, Hero completes, BB checks. Re: Top pair vs passive.
In theory, if you were on the Button facing 2 of these players, you'd be correct to limp in with many hands you planned to play. Since they will call regardless, it's easier to outplay them postflop when your preflop edge is not very big and they will chase without odds. Same idea works in your situation.
