Set HU against a TAG (LAG?)
Villian is a LAGish "TAG". (30/20/2 ish)
Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Button raises, 1 fold, Hero calls. Flop: (4.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls. Turn: (4.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, Button bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, Hero caps, Button calls. River: (12.25 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets, Button calls. Final Pot: 14.25 BB I expect him to raise the flop with A-high and bet the turn almost always. I would have only called a raise on the river. Thoughts? Is this line reasonable? |

Re: Set HU against a TAG (LAG?)
I like it. Advantage to checkraising the turn here, instead of donkbetting/going for a 3-bet, is that Villain here is much more likely to 3-bet the turn with something like AK than he is to cap with it.
