Default KK on the button

.1/.25 blinds.

First orbit at the table, it seems pretty loose but not terrible. I'd seen UTG raise once to 5X the bb from ep with QQ
UTG has $20
UTG+1 has $4
I have $25
Blinds have $15 and $20

I get KK on the button

UTG min raises to $.50, UTG+1 goes all in for $4, folded to me...

What do I do? The minimum I can raise to is $7.50 with the blinds behind me who I assume are fairly loose but reasonable and UTG may or may not have a hand.

I actually like a raise to 7.50 here as you can get it all in on the flop.

I would like to hear what others say, but would this be a good time, to just call behind and hide the value of your hand?
16x BB seems like it will get rid of most people, but also allow maybe the original min raiser to come along with JJ. If you three bet it, he probably gets away from that.

yes, call is another option. with call, you should expect UTG to bet in to you on the flop so you can raise all in there.

Default BUMP, anyone else?

This is a pretty common situation and I feel that there is one clearly correct play, be it call, min raise to $7.50, or go all in. I'm just not experienced enough to know which one is right yet.

I mini-raise to try to build a side pot before the all in guy sucks out on me.

Yeah this is the whole crux of the issue, of course I want to build a side pot. But I don't see how raising to 30X the BB agasint a guy with 50 cents in is an effective way to do this at all. "Min raise" in this case is actually a big ass re-re-raise, pretty prohibitive if you ask me.

I much prefer to smooth-call the kings here, to build a decent side pot against a loose UTG player with position. Any reraise, even a minimum reraise, marks yourself with a good hand. Even LAGs recognize this.

What's the point of getting it all in when I chase everyone else but the already all in small stack out of the pot?
