I was definitely less interested after seeing the trailer. I already don't like Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka. But then, nobody could ever do it better than Mr. Wilder.

i want to see it just out of curiosity, i love the original. but i get the feeling it's going to be annoyingly sucky.

I still enjoy watching this movie for some odd reason. I think it has everything to do with the Ommpa Loompas and the Chocolate Factory.

The fact is the original was inspired. This one will be a Burton movie. Unfortunate, this is one piece of work that should not be messed with.
