Default why do people love J 10

Why do online players love Jack 10 so much. In a sit and go last night with the blinds at 25/50, the player in first position raised to 125 chips. I was dealt AQ suited. I went all in with about 800 chips which was about what he had left. He called with, sure enough, J10 unsuited. And after I caught my ace on the flop, he caught running Jacks. Why? It seems that a lot of online players play J10 religiously. Why?

I dunno.. my best guess is that every straight it makes using both the J and T is the nuts.

I think I remember an announcer on WSOP saying that JTs is a favorite hand for many pros.

Because they love it when you take a bad beat Bad Beat BAD BEAT! and want you to post a thinly veiled whine about it.

Top 10 reasons people love Jack Ten:

10. It adds up to 20, confusing people who also play blackjack, and some poker authors.

9. It takes three characters to describe two cards.

8. Every straight it makes is the nuts, unless someone makes a bigger one.

7. It's the bridge between spotted and painted cards.

6. It doesn't have a gap like QT.

5. Tens think they're face cards and people like face cards.

4. It's more colorful than T9.

3. It beats the hell out of 32.

2. It always attracts running jacks.

1. They know it pisses you off.

Thats hilarious man...

My favorite TJ experience was when one guy beat out AA with it after calling a 3-bet preflop. When the AA guy got mad, the TJ guy referred to it as "Tay Jay" and then proceeded to rhyme every sentence for the next two minutes with the "ay" sound. (I just like to play the tay jay every single day, i made a nice play, you may say nay, but i took your mone-ay) Needless to say the AA guy went on tilt and donated a mortgage payment to everyone at the table over the next hour.

The concept is that every straight it makes using BOTH cards is the nuts.
