Default JJ line----need some advice

Well, after reading HOH and a couple other books, I'm moving from 5/10 NL to 400NL. A few months ago I was very successful at 50NL and 100NL, before reading any of these books.

Here's a hand I'd like advice on.

Villain is 20/4/2.2 over 4K hands
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) converter

Button ($263.4)
SB ($187.6)
BB ($436)
UTG ($414.6)
UTG+1 ($227.75)
UTG+2 ($399.2)
Hero ($407.4)
MP2 ($68)
MP3 ($322.4)
CO ($323.7)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $13</font>, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, CO calls $13, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>.

Flop: ($32) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">CO bets $20</font>, Hero calls $20.

Turn: ($72) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, CO checks.

River: ($72) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero checks, CO checks.
Final Pot: $72

Why are you giving him the option of a free card on this flop?

Good question. I don't know what my logic was here, except that I could probably get him to bluff here a lot. The worst case scenario for me was if he was holding A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and pushed this flop. Mostly I just wanted to see a showdown, I felt like I was good here a lot with only one caller.

you're trying to induce a bluff on a monotone board when you don't have a spade draw and you have a weak overpair???????

i'd be scared sh*tless by any bet, thus i'd bet pot on the flop and cower/fold to any aggression on any street.
