PokerRoom Player Points
PokerRoom just offered to buy back your player points for just about $.0185 each, a very good deal as far as player points are valued accross the industry. Sure you cant get knit beanies, but you CAN get what ever you want with the cash!
For every 5,000 points you redeem you must earn 400 new points to clear these special bonus dollars. So basically it takes 5400 points to get $100..... a hell of a deal. Here are the specs:  I havent seen this posted and assumed many players would be interested, even if you havent played there in a while it must be worth clearing these [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

Maybe I'm a little brain dead this morning, but I'm not clear on this promo...I have 17,000 points on there. Does this mean I have a free 300 bucks coming to me or what? BTW, there store has some AWESOME merchandise, like real quality stuff. Wish you could use player points, but I'll probably buy something anyway. You still playing only NL on there?

If you have 17,000 points you redeem it for $300 in bonus money which you then have to earn 1200 points (total) to clear. You can then redeem the other 2000 points for $40 in bonus money and you will need another 200 points to clear that, as the $10 increments clear at a 5x rate rather than the 4x rate for the $100 increments...... still a sweet deal. I spent most of my month on UB as I still have a lot of bonus dollars stored up, but I will be making my way back to PR now as I have bonus bucks to clear [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

[/ QUOTE ] I believe it only takes 5,000 points to get $100. Yes you need 400 extra points to clear the bonus but you get to keep them afterwards.

am i the only one who thinks it's retarded that you get these "points" and still have to play 4x points to redeem them for anything?
it seems like a crafty way to adopt a reload bonus into a shitty points system pokerroom's promotions suck

it basically is a reload bonus, I got a $100 bonus package, I just figure it as $1 off every tournament I play
