Lately I've just been limping AK levels 1-2, and I've found it's been working out much better for me.

Raising is probably the better play, but I seem to find it easier to get away from a bad flop if I've only dropped t30 into the pot.

Meh.

Limping when you have position?

Me no like.

Good point. I should look at a few HHs from tonight and see if I have done this with position. I *think* I pop it, but I want to be certain.

For the record, I'll limp with AK in the first two seats on the early levels. This is because I've done a LOT of equity vs random x hands calculations and then applied SNG logic.

Karak567

i would just call on lvl1+2 if sb/bb.

you raise preflop, you throw out a continuation bet if the flop misses = lots of chips spent early in the tourny

As for having AK on the button, RAISE! throw a continuation bet on the flop if checked to you. Difference on the button vs sb/bb is that you have position.
