<font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 bets $225</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $700</font>, UTG+1 calls $475.

Final Pot: $1620

How often should I be betting this turn? Probably often on this board, hard to see a check-raise coming? Villain is 26/11 and seems to like raising dominated hands preflop and pay off postflop, other than that I haven't seen much. By the river it's obvious he has the flush too, and I can't help but think how much more money I would have made had I bet the turn and he had called...Then again, all the times I bet the turn, miss the river and we go check/check I probably lose to a better hand...

The nice thing about a turn bet here is that if he has a hand like AT or even AQ you have extra pot equity in case the board pairs the 6, J, K or A because you probably check behind and end up splitting. Given your read though, he's probably going to call a turn bet with any A, so you have to wonder how often he has a flush draw here vs. any A, and what your equity is against that range (I'm assuming it's significantly over 50%, so I like a bet).

Funny that you wrote the paragraph at the end because when i read the action the first thing that went thru my mind was, why did he check the turn.
I would fire turn if he is loose and would call with another FD. That way when the flush hits you get paid off big because he doesnt put u on the draw.
The flip side is if he is tightish, he might fold another flush draw which would pay you big if it hits.
Depending on player i check or pot turn.
