PT makes you a better player.
PE shows you who's a bad player.

I'd much rather be a better player.

The former is cheating IMO, the second only is if you datamine/share databases.

Unbelievable. So you must be totally against the notes options too? Believe that people shouldn't be allowed to write notes down at a live game either right?

You don't use anything to analyze your play? Just look at + or - and forget about the good decisions you made during a bad session or the bad ones that you made from a good session?

What I am saying is, that I am not against players using pokertracker to improve and track their own play, but once you get into the realms of co-operatives sharing and collating their databases, I think you have crossed the line. Poker Edge comes into the latter category. It is only my opinion, after all. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Gotcha. Misunderstood your previous post. I'm on the fence with that one. I can't say it's flat wrong, but I won't say it's no problem at all.

If you don't like it you can always employ tactics to avoid this sort of data collection...change your screen name every 6 months.
