Default A Q Blues....

Villain seemed pretty solid, I 4-table so no solid read but his stats throgh a few hundred hands were VPIP/preflop raise= 32/4, and he seemed pretty solid postflop. I'll post results later.

I'd re-raise to a $100 and call a push, the only hands you really have to worry about are 22, A2 and AT. (I assume he'd raise AK preflop) and I don't think 22 or A2 would lead into the pre-flop raiser on this flop.

Default RESULTS AND THOUGHTS

I let my time bank run down, typed "22?" and folded. He flashed A8o.

He was the only player at that table that I would have folded to, as I had only seen him show premium hands to that point, and all the other plays he made seemed to be spot on.

Basically my thinking was this: He is a strong player who is somewhat loose passive preflop and limped 22 and called a raise trying to crack an overpair by making a set. I have been playing TAG and only showing down premium hands as well, so he prob views me as a strong player. On the flop of A A 2 he is good enough to lead into me as he realizes the only way he is getting paid off here is if I do indeed have AK as if I hold KK or QQ I'm folding to a checkraise.

I guess basically what it boils down to is I over analyzed another small stakes player and gave them too much credit, but I would have prob taken pretty much that line had I been in his spot holding 22. Oh well, next hand.
