Default What to do with JJ here?

SB has stats of 53%/2%/0.56/23%/43% after 49 hands.

I haven't noticed when he has raised, and certainly haven't seen him re-raise before. So, after his re-raise I figure I'd just call and play to hit a set. But then the flop comes all unders, so now what? And was calling the re-raise pre-flop okay, or is that too fishy?

Thanks for any comments.

I like minraising here. Cheap and effective. If he raises, fold. If he calls and leads turn, fold. If he calls and checks, check behind.

Calling here is good, too, unless he'll keep betting down with AK. If he bets turn hard, you should probably fold.

Loose, yes, but not aggressive. Only 2% PFR and 0.56 AF. Assuming my read that he's relatively passive is correct, would you still call down?

I only have ~17 left when then $6 flop bet comes at me. Min-raising basically pot commits me, no? Or is that what you're saying we want to do here?

didn't know you were so short. If you were so short, then when you call his flop reraise, you basically have to get it all in on an all under flop.

Sorry, bud, didn't even look at stack sizes. Assumed it was .5/1 for some reason. I'm not sure what he's capable of raising with. Your read on him is better than mine. If you're going to go with the hand I think calling down is the best option.

I strongly suspect you're looking at a better pocket pair here. You were playing for set value preflop; what's changed your read? Your stack size is rather awkward; too much to want to back your stack given your read, too little to be able to raise for information without being pot-committed. Minraise & fold to further action seems reasonable; it might be best to just muck.

is this guy capable of reraising a small stack purely because he is a small stack?
