Default Noob to board, AK JJ play

General strategy question. At Level 1 or 2, do you ever call off all you chips against an all in with JJ or AK preflop? I see this play frequently in PP 11s and 22s. It seems to me that especially with JJ against decent players, you're no better than a coin flip with 25-45 dead money in. Is it worth it to bust out/cripple yourself to double up given that the aggressor only wins 25-45 chip if you fold?

Meh, a lot of people like folding AK and JJ early to all-in. I personally, will call this a lot of the time because my opponents are stupid, and I'm likely to be ahead. If opponent is a known donk, easy call. Otherwise, folding looks good.
