Default Do you lay this down ?

Vilain is 28/12/1.5 over 700 hands.. He didn't do strange stuff that I noticed... Since he has position he could try a turn raise with middle pair and do a free showdown ? I guess he had the ace or the king here... Not sure it's worth 2 BB to see if he had it...

If Vilain call instead of raising do you still bet the river or check/fold or check /call ?

You should fold this quickly and move on. If called, you can probably check/fold (especially on a heart), unless you feel like Villain will play a lower PP this way.

There is very little that you beat even before he raised the turn. Notice how his PFR of 12% and your J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] combine to make an unpaired flush draw almost impossible? What seven could he have? He might have TT or below but would this player call the flop with that?

As weak as it looks I would not object to checkfolding the turn. You are behind so often that it will be very difficult to recover the 1 or 2 BB that must be invested to try and land this 4.5 BB pot.

Player of that kind always call down with pocket pair even with AK on the board. My JJ here should be good quite often... Since he showed a lot of strength on the turn I layed it down ... It seems really weak to check fold the turn anyway I never know what to do in that kind of situation. If he had shown me something weird before I would have called him down...
