Al Ruck - Man of Mystery

I was curious if anybody knows who this Al Ruck character is. He is currently sitting in a close second in the Hi-Lo Split Stud event. I guess my main question is: is Al Ruck really Alan Ruck, the dude who played Cameron in Ferris Buehler's Day Off? If so, that would be awesome and he would become my new favorite poker player. Please discuss...
