I would never fold that flop because MP3 could be pumping a flush draw and there is no reason to think SB definitely has you beat.

If an Ace or [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] falls on the turn or river and I see a lot of agression, then I am most likely gone.

IMO, the fold is horrible because not only are we not sure he is beat, he is getting 20:1 on the call. With implied odds, that is enough to draw to his T.

There is one problem here, namely, you actually HAVE to call the third bet on the flop. As it is, you are getting 21 to 1 closing the action on that bet. Given that, with all the action and the likely draw out, you are likely to make probably 4 BB or more on later streets if a ten hits on the turn, a call of that third bet will be significantly positive EV on the flop.

Otherwise, you're thinking is dead-on. Raise the flop largely for information, and use it to get out as early as possible. I just think that "early as possible" means on the turn, not to the third bet on the flop.

There are also some other game-play considerations against folding the flop to one bet at any point. Ed Miller points out that that is one of the things you can do at a SS table that encourages other players to take shots at you.
