WSOP steps quick Question

I have one step 6 and a step 4 now. I've been playing around in this tourney mode for quite some time now, and whoever described this thing as a metroid like game, I agree. There is now a bit of a question as to if I'll make the trip in mid July, I'm wondering what is party going to do with unclaimed steps buyins? Do they just disapear into the void, get roled towards lamers, or converted to cash?

anyone know? I know if I win the step 6 and don't go I get nada, I'm just wondering about the other dollars in play.

Good question. Does anyone know? I played a round of WSOP steps and found them soft. Could be an opportunity to get up to level 3 or 4 and sit on it. When they cancelled the step highers they refunded everyone's entries for cash. I don;t see how they could do this without refunding, becuase with the up and down [prize payouts they can never really end, but the WSOP is going to start soon.
