Montreal?
Are there any games there? I looked it up - they have this big casino that from what I can see has no poker room. I was planning on heading up there for the jazz festival with my brother, but was looking to play while i was up there. It's not quite a vacation unless i lose at LEAST 2 buy ins...hahahaha

Re: Montreal?
I think someone recently posted that the nearest poker is the Mohawk Casino in upper New York State -- see http://www.mohawkcasino.com . That's just my recollection though; you might want to search for that thread, if the search works!

Re: Montreal?
when i did the search all i got was bad news about montral clubs getting raided. This casino looks nice - but searching the site for "poker" only brings up multiple things about "pai gow"

Re: Montreal?
Here ya go: http://www.mohawkcasino.com/index.php?L=POKER
And try searching on Akwesasne on this forum, it would have been in the last 2 weeks. (EDIT: Never mind, the search here REALLY sucks. I tried that myself and got all of today's threads. Yeah, they all have "Akwesasne". Sure.) If you do decide on the Akwesasne Mohawk one, you might want to call ahead to make sure it's running; as I understand they're a pretty small room and not always going. |
