I put 'yes'... but its not that I think I've had a combo of some poor plays and some big ol' bad beats (as you saw in my last post).
But It hasn't been so bad for so long that I'm yet worried. You can't run well indefinitely. If nothing's better a month from now, I'll be worried.

I'm about ready to bite the bullet and look for a job. I guess that's running bad.
Its funny not many people on forums seem to think tables are much tighter than they were even a few months ago, but most of the regulars I play with sure notice it. I'm guessing a lot of college kids are trying to play poker instead of getting a summer job and that's tightening things up? Even though I'm feeling negative on things, I do find it hard to believe the poker boom is already over. David

Its not even close to over. Think of all the high school kids just learning poker now. Its gonna stay good.
And this isn't limit poker, just because a table is tight doesn't mean its not extremely beatable. Most of your edge in nl is postflop.

I've had like 6 straight losing sessions. College kids playing makes no sense, are they like.. different from other new players? Meaning they have a special skill of sucking out on me?

[/ QUOTE ] I keep hearing a lot how the games have tightned up/not as many tables. I was actually thinking if true it could be due to kids in college not playing as much cause they are home. Probably more likely to go out and do things on their break then log on and suck at poker.
