Default Bellagio room reservation question

I'm planning on taking a trip to Vegas in July with some friends.. My friends seem completely bent on staying at the Bellagio, so it is going to be pricey. In order to mitigate that, we were thinking about all four of us sharing a room. However, it seems the room rates are significantly more expensive for 4 people as opposed to 2. Any suggestions whether it is feasible to to book the room for 2 and sneak in 2 more, or do I need to book for 4? However we do it, we would all like to be able to use the pool as well..

Thanks..

are you referring to the poker room rate or the regular room rate?

With four I'd stay at The Hotel at Mandalay Bay - 1 1/2 baths, separate bedroom, crashable couch. Pool scene blows away the Bellagio and the only negative is the small poker room.

It would have to be a regular room rate. I called the Bellagio poker room but I don't qualify for the poker rate as I have not played there before.

The correct Vegas term is "loose sluts" but the gaming commission does not allow you to advertise this benefit of your casino .

Not knowing your circumstances, I don't know what Pricey is. However, for most of the summer, you can get rooms at Bellagio Sunday-Thursday (lake view, subject to availability) for $149.

You need a Promo Code though, send me a contact, and I'll share.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info!

Unfortunately the code doesn't apply to Sat/Sunday, and there is also a $70 extra charge per night for adding 2 extra guests (bringing the room to avg of $300 a night). That's why I was considering booking for only 2 people, but I'm still not sure what the situation will be with getting into the pool since we'll only have 2 room keys in that case..

When I stayed at the bellagio with the poker rate (around 3 weeks ago) they didn't ask how many people I was staying with and said they could give me anywhere from 0 to 4 room keys. I asked for 4 and they gave me 4 and charged me the normal amount. One night, we did have 4 people in the room and 2 slept on the floor. The beds come with some thick padded thing that they slept on. It was all good.
