Whilst 4-tabling the $11 SNG's I decided to move up in stakes temporarily and open up one game of 1/2 HE after I busted out in my first SNG.
Here are two 99 hands. I have a good idea how I played them, but let me hear some comments from you all. __________________________ Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 max, 8 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 5 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls. Hand 1: I think I prefer to bet the turn as the last money I'm putting into the pot. Give him one last opportunity to fold.
Hand 2: That is a bold turn raise, my friend. I don't think he has the flush (he'd check/raise instead), but I'm worried about him donkbetting Jx, one club. It seems that it worked out for you, but I don't think I can say I like it without feeling like my results-oriented side is getting the best of me. I wish you had cut off the action. |

Hand 1: I bet the turn, fold to a check raise, and take a free showdown if given to me.
Hand 2: I like it. |
