Pay By Cash
Hello again--
2 QUESTIONS ---------------- I e-mailed the people at Party Poker but got no reply, so I decided to bring my question here. Can you create an account with Party Poker (or if not PP, any of the other poker rooms) strictly with cash? I don't want to add any poker bills onto a credit card, and was looking into opening a PO Box strictly for Party Poker cashout, bonuses, news and so forth-- ------- 2) Would you say that if you can beat the $1-2 Hold'em at an actual casino, that you can start at $1-2 on internet poker, or would you advise starting smaller? I ask because I've never played internet poker for real money. |

Re: Pay By Cash
Some of the sites you can western union cash to them but there is a fee. As far as online v. live.... first where the hell did you find a 1/2 live game? Anyway games of the same limit I find are infinitely tougher online but I cant immagine that 1/2 could be that tough of a game anywhere.

Re: Pay By Cash
1/2 NL is pretty popular and spread around most major casinos. I think thats what he is talking about - or maybe in Florida because I know they have a cap on the max ammount of $ allowed in poker games.

Re: Pay By Cash
I've never played B&M (underage), but from what I understand is the same limit online is much tougher than live.

Re: Pay By Cash
i forgot exactly what the card is called, its listed on the paypro cashier options. there is a card that you can get at random stores in your local area where you give the cashier there money and they give you a debit card. you can use this debit card for internet play.
i never used it myself though because the local shops in my area that did this service were random type mom and pop shops and i didnt think it was a smart idea to bring 2k in there to buy a debit card. |

You just simply get a cashiers check at your bank and then mail it to Ultimate Bet in Canada. You may want to look at that option if you are just starting out and playing small stakes and don't want to use any bank wires or anything. I'm sure other sites will take cashiers checks you just have to check their sites. |

Re: Pay By Cash
The easiest funding method if you want to use cash is to find someone locally that is already playing. Give them the cash and they transfer the money from their account. I do this quite often and it works out for both of us. I get the $65 affiliate money and the player gets a real money account without hassling with Neteller or IGM (although neither are that much of a hassle anyway).

Re: Pay By Cash
Am I the only one that thinks this sounds really shady?
Why exactly do you need to fund in cash? Why exactly do you need to open a PO Box just to create an account? |

Re: Pay By Cash
If you can beat the lowest game at a live casino, you should be able to beat the lowest game on party. So if 1/2 is the bottom, you can beat .5/1. 1/2 online is an all kinds of different animal.
