I don't see any problem going to showdown when this type of player bets out on the turn, but I dont think raising the turn bet is good. This type is the type who 3bets you with a worse hand and rarely lays down a better one. I would call the turn.

How about getting an extra bet about from a 6 or overs that he would fold on the river and even if he checked I couldn't value bet?

Looks fine. I also don't respect donk bets like that. You have something to worry about/muck if he 3 bets the turn.
