I'd probably call the flop and raise the turn. You may get a call from ace high on the river. It looks like the opponent missed his draw. But he may have a pair of some sort. It's certainly an odd line. But I think there's definitely valued it a river bet here.

what are you beating there? a busted draw? a worse king? (he raised PF from the worst position and 3bet me on the flop) i can't see a bet making any sense here, and i valuebet like a champ

I dont think he has AA, AK, or KK here very often. They would all have bet the turn, you would think.

As such, it could be a busted draw, that might call with ace high, or like QQ/JJ.

Sure, open limp, why not? Other than that it's straight forward imo. At best villain has you outkicked with KQ (suited to make the preflop raise more sound), but I'd put him on a PP anywhere from 99-QQ. In this case 99 is the one and only threat coming in and therefore a bet on the river is mandatory. Don't see what else he would be playing with, maybe AJ- AQ.

Bet the river, he has shown nothing here.
