AJ, Great Flop, Extracting Value
Just got to the table, no real reads. Villian ran his timer to between 5-10 seconds on the flop and turn calls. I think this was the reasoning behind my river play. What about a mini-raise on the river? I usually don't get that tricky, but is this a good spot to induce a bluff?

Re: AJ, Great Flop, Extracting Value
Lead small on the river. Say $4. Then any one pair (or two pair) hand still calls, but any flush probably raises, as might a straight. Then shove it in.

Re: AJ, Great Flop, Extracting Value
ive been thinking alot about extracting on the river w/ a monster. Here I like the check(min)raise. If he has a hand that's going to call a checkraise allin, he's going to come over the top of your minraise.

I like that logic. Do you think checking is good for the river?

If he's going to push over your minraise, he will push over your lead anyway. Leading out is the play. |
