Default Some days I love this game; others I don\'t

Grinding along, three-tabling $.50/1.00 on Party the other night, I played for three hours and ended up 17 cents ahead for my efforts. That was not such a good night.

Last night, I stumbled onto Paradise and found some hyper-juicy looking $.50/1.00 tables: average pot size of 20BB or so. Lots of crazy raising going on. It was like a play money game.

Only in O/8 can you count on nine other people to play so poorly that you can parlay 6.5BBs into 38 in one hand. The sad thing is that in my underestimating just how bad they were, I chickened out on the flop and bet/called when I could have probably bet/reraised/called and not lost anyone in the process.

Well, I didn't make that mistake on later streets.

My mouth's still watering.
