What happens when a 20 year old wins a seat in the WSOP?

Let's say someone (like me) is 20 years old, and wins a WSOP seat from an online tourney. Is he SOL because the minimum age for casinos in Vegas is 21?

The only reason I'm not trying to win a seat is because I'm 20, so I was just wondering what happens to those who do.

I'd think you're probably good. If the site tries to revoke it, you can e-mail them and explain your situation.

My bday is in Jan, I guess I'll be attempting to win a seat next year.

According to the rules at Pokerstars, you'd be fine. Don't know about the other sites.

I'm in the same boat; although it's highly unlikely that I'll qualify. I'm just assuming that it'll be fine.

If its Party/Stars, I don't know. For the sites that have 21 age limits (i know Paradise/UB does), you might have some explaining to do.

Sorry, but what's the point. If you actually place in the money they'll likely find out when you go to fill out the W2-G info.

Overall, it just isn't worth it. Wait another year.
