Default lay this down on the turn?

villian's stats were quite loose/passive over 200 6m hands. on the river it wasn't looking too good. i'm still feeling my way around shorthanded land.

I fold the turn. A loose/passive 1/2 player hears you bet the ace with a 4-straight on board and he raises you anyway? You don't have very many outs.

nobody likes to fold when they hit a pair of Aces. but I don't think you have much of a chance here. If he has an Ace, he's got a better kicker or two pair. If he doesn't, he has a straight, two pair or trips. Yes, some players do go nuts in shorthanded ... maybe he has 76...but the chances are still too slim to call him down with a board like that. And the decision is on the Turn (after the raise), because at that point, you have to decide if you are going to call both the Turn and the River - or neither.
