Default Hourly rate - realistic expectations

Hi,

I've been making about 20 cents per hand on Pokerstars $1/$2 NL, have a sample size of about 50,000 hands.

Is that representative? Can I expect that in the long term?

What kind of win rate do top internet pros make?

I've heard of people making as much as $300 per hour, but my forays into the big games have resulted in huge swings, I got out of there before taking serious capital loss.

phil ivey reported 100k a month playing internet poker. eric(k?)123 (eric(k?) sagstrom) reported that he made like 5 million through the internet poker boom.

most top pros arent making 300/hr though. only a few are reaching this range, from what im aware of. 150-250/hr is as high as most people make, imo.

It all depends on how adept you are at multitabling. $400/hr is quite doable.

If I remember correctly NL winrates run something in the 10-20xBB/100 hand range.

Hi,

10-20bb/100 hands. In one hour you see 50 hands on one table. So you should make 5-10bb per hour on one $1/$2 NL table.

That's $10-$20 per hour.

I am making about $10.

Is 5 big blinds per hour a good win rate? I am struggling to make it higher than that.
