Default Questionable play in Party $10+1.

I'm really not sure if I played this right...at all.

No reads as it was early. I had him on a draw.

I raise preflop. KQo isn't amazing but you have positition. Weed out the herd and immediately find out if anyone is slow-playing something from EP.

I jandle the flop like you did and push the turn.

I hope you aren't serious. I fold this one preflop without hesitation.

When's the last time you played the $10+1?

A while ago. But I play the 22s, which are similar. Raising KQo in level 2 is bad poker IMO, even if you dress it up in "but I will outplay my opponents postflop" reasoning.

I fold preflop.

However that's not really what you're interested in.

After the turn drops a blank card, I probably put the rest of my stack in and let him call the rest if he has the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I played it preflop because of all the limpers. I guess that would make checking the turn more reasonable, as someone could've just limped in with two connecting diamonds.

Anyways, if this is K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], do you limp in preflop?

And is the general consensus that I shouldn't have played this preflop, but I didn't botch it postflop?

KQs is tempting to limp with. If you hit a K or a Q you have to be very careful though.

As for this hand, I don't think you should be that afraid of the flush here. I think I would get my money in on the turn and if someone flopped a flush so be it.

Fold preflop. QK gets you in tons of trouble level 1-3, just like AJ.
