All-in Raises (Stupid Rules Question)
If a player makes a raise that puts him all-in, how big does the raise need to be to reopen the betting? For instance, say I'm playing 5/10 limit holdem. I bet $10, my opponent raises all-in to $16, and another player calls. Can I reraise? If so, does it go to $26?
Is the rule the same for both limit and no limit? Also, are there any online poker rooms that get this wrong? (I've played waaay too much poker not to know this.) |

Re: All-in Raises (Stupid Rules Question)
In limit, betting is reopened if the additional bet is 1/2 of a full bet or more. In no limit I believe the raise has to be twice the original bet or twice the original raise to reopen action.
