Default Mussina overload, PLEASE STOP!

Voltron, Dead, you two need different avatars. Scrolling through a thread with twenty Mussinas in a row, where two people are actually talking is way too much to handle. I don't care whether Mussina pwns either, since I never watch the Yankees until September.

I assumed Voltron lost a bet to Dead and this was the punishment.

i want to take this chance to offer apologies to any NYY fan i may have offended by posting pictures of bernies best selling album "my legs don't work so good no more" and jeter with a ballet outfit on. it is overly childish and i will stop. dead, i will continue to ignore you until you grow up, but will no longer insult you. i do not apologize for the pictures that mock randy johnson, as he is disliked by almost every breathing baseball fan.

this is my first step on my way to becoming a more user friendly sublime.

yeah, whatever. I don't find that stuff as offensive as annoying. I am on the west coast and don't give a fukc about the Yankees/Sox rivalry. It would be like me coming on here with Dodgers/Giants smack every day. Well they both suck, so it doesn't matter.

The entertaining part of the Yankees/Sox banter on this board is how increasingly ridiculous Dead sounds trying to say the Yankees will win the division.

I don't have a problem with that though. I respect a man who cheers on his team in good times and bad.

I did it as a novelty to mess with people who would think I was dead. I'm going to change it soon.

I thought the same thing. The shame is that I can't read any more of V's strategy posts because the avatar has such a strong negative association that it makes me want to ignore everything in the post.

Mussina isn't even good anymore. 5-4 with a 4.32 ERA while playing for the Yankees kinda sucks.

Yikes. According to Dead, he's their ace (along with Pavano.) For some reason this guarantees the playoffs. Stupid people make me giggle.

how can you look at what they have done up to this point and think they are a playoff team? i am being 100% serious by the way. they are not the best team in the east (even if baltimore fades, you have to admit the sox are deeper) and winnign thw wild card is not going to be easy. its more than likely gonna come out of another division.

sure, you can accuse me of being childish in NYY/sox threads, but i look at both teams with an open mind. the NYY are old and thin. the sox are no giant either, but considering what they have overcome the first two month of the year (schedule/schilling/wells injury/foulke being unusually bad) saying the NYY are the better teams right just seems absurd to me.
