This forum has a real hardon for him these days. I mean, I get it, he challenged our "leader" to a poker match. Who cares. That doesn't mean that every other thread needs to be an update making fun of his latest blog entry.

I understand this, and I understand that at the end of the day, people are going to post what they want regardless of what I say. BUT...

Most of the complaints about Negreanu seem to center around the idea that he is either a) a braggart/immodest, b) an attention wh ore, or c) both.

Well, if its a), I am certain that being constantly discussed by people on the internet who do not know you is not the first step on the road to modesty. And if it's b), then I think we're giving the guy exactly what he craves.

I just think it's a bit ridiculous, and wanted to point it out. Whether or not the advice is taken is another matter. But it is pretty absurd.

This is just a common forum trend.

1. Topic gets hot
2. Topic gets saturated
3. Poster gets annoyed with topic and further saturates by asking people to stop posting on topic.
4. People continue doing what they want.
