PF Raiser vs your pair.
Interesting delema I have in my head. $25-$100 NL
Lets say you limp in with a medium to small pair, 99-22. Get 1-2 limpers and someone raises 4x BB. All fold but you. His stack is large enough and he is bad enough that if you hit a set you take his stack down. -------------------- Say you have 77 Flop comes all low cards. 2 5 9 rainbow. he bets 2/3 of the pot into you. Well the hands he would raise here with can be TT-AA and AK. 30 possibilities your behind, and 16 possibilities your ahead. Seems mathematically your behind since you missed. So whats the action if you are 1st to act and last to act. |

Re: PF Raiser vs your pair.
my default against someone whose pfr range is so small would be to fold. if you include suited paint or lower pairs into his range then we'd need some more info. does he always make a continuation bet on the flop. does he have the cojones to fire a 2nd barrel on the turn. also in my experience limpers at these levels won't fold for 3bb's more after someone else has called the raiser. if the raiser had made it 6bb's to go then i could see them folding and your question becomes even more interesting since you'll be fighting over up to 15.5bb's on the flop.

Re: PF Raiser vs your pair.
Well my assumption that most raisers play that range and I fold. But I do adjust to overaggressive players that raise a lot. I just wanted to be sure how I thought was right.
Of course someone raising into many limpers probably has closer to those hands mentioned. |

Re: PF Raiser vs your pair.
i'll defer to your judgement since 10max isn't what i normally play. and if that is the case then check/fold is fine since you don't have enough fold equity to make it profitable.
