I just emailed internet support and here is there reply:

Hello Ian,
Thank you for contacting us. The internet has been taken offline briefly while we upgrade the servers to "Internet Mach 2." We are very exited about the upgrade. Also referred to as "i2" or "The Grid", this new computer technology will be slowly phasing out the "old" internet over the next several months. During this time you may not be able to access every website and you may notice some websites loading slower than usual.

We expect to have the servers running again by September 1st. When the upgrades are finsihed you will notice all the images on every website appear to be in 3D.
