Default KQs - better line here?

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (7 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, SB 3-bets, BB calls, Hero calls, Button calls.

Flop: (12 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB bets, BB folds, Hero raises, Button calls, SB 3-bets, Hero calls, Button calls.

Turn: (10.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, Button folds.

River: (12.50 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.50 BB

Can I put him on TT or AQ or [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and not raise the river?

I'd pop the river.

The rest is played fine.

Still call a re-raise on the river though?

it should be pretty obvious to him when you raise *that* river what your hand is, his 3-bet would be bad news. i'd just call if he 3-bets.

That's what I'm thinking - if behind on the river, a raise costs me 2 bets....if I'm ahead, a raise gets me 1 bet. So i should be ahead 2/3 of the time to break even.

I didn't do this at the time of the hand, but..

AHEAD:
AA 6 hands
KK 3

BEHIND:
AQ 4
TT 3

Doesn't seem like it's quite there to me for a raise.

I don't think AQo 3-bets you from the sb very often, so I'd probably put it at 1 combo for the AQs.

its more likely you're ahead of 9 and behind to 5.

As Ed M would say, when the pot's this big, don't save bets, save pots.
