Checkraise the flop. Force MP2 to call 2 cold and put some pressure on CO. The hand will play out differently. You're in a great position to checkraise the preflop raiser here. If the checkraise is only called by either/both players, lead the turn.

If rock has an overpair, often times he may just call a c/r on the flop and pop the turn after I lead, trapping both me and donk. On the turn I'm bet/folding. I think I'm saving 0.5BB if I just call flop

Why did you just call the flop if you were going to lead out the turn when the J hit? Not that you knew the J was coming but you know what I mean I think. Bet or check raise.

I think I'm losing some value if I don't bet this river, there is a good chance my hand is good and I think if I don't bet the river will get checked through

Isn't a flop check-raise standard here? (and isn't it more effective?)

I could see the logic if you are trying to bet the river to get a coldcall from the donk, thus making the rock fold the better hand. Otherwise, I can't see the rock calling down with a hand you beat right now.
