Default I Love Empire

Feels like I need to balance the Empire haters a bit.

What do I like about Empire:
They give me $100 every month for doing nothing, no clearing required.
The bonuses are running about another $100 a month
I've got a decent rakebake there
Can't beat the game selection - I make money ACTUALLY PLAYING POKER
Nice little tourney overlays

Does their rewards program suck? Yes, but so does everywhere else I've played, with the exception of Stars.

People who've had their account closed are obviously upset because they've lost a whoring opportunity and feel somehow that they've been cheated. But c'mon, step back, take a look at it from their perspective. If everyone on the site did nothing but clear bonuses at a rate greater than that a which they generate rake, Empire would be done in rather quickly. I've got nothing against bonuses, and there are plenty more out there. Quit bitching about Empire acting in it's own self interest and move on.

Wow! I've just opened an Empire account and was getting all excited with this talk of free money and free tvs.

Then I looked at the epoints criteria.

Square root of raked hands

Very rough calculations...

Okay as a low limit multitabler I reckon I could do 600 hands a day at $2/$4. About 400 raked hands which earns me 20 epoints.

30 Days a month - 30 x 20 = 600 epoints a month.

Very roughly I will pay about $70 rake per day so in 1 month I will pay $2,100 in Rake.

After 8.3 months AND paying $17,430 rake I will get the 5000 epoints to get in the VIP club.

Once in the VIP club my epoints rate will x 2.

To get to the Royal Flush Club (15,000 epoints) and the free $100 a month (15,000 epoints) will take me
1 1/2 years and $35,000 of rake.

20% Extra Epoints in Royal Flush Club.

To get the 'free' tv will take me about 2 years 1 month and $49,500 of rake.

The LCD screen will take 3 1/2 years and $86,000 rake.

The 'dreamy' Vegas package will take 6 years 4 months and only $158,000 of rake.

Am I screwy or is this a Scientology front?

Always be folding
