Default Fun conversation on a 5/10 game

names withheld to protect the idiots.
i might have mixed up a and X a couple of times while copying it over....oh well.

a is a decent player...perhaps a 2+2'er who's just messing around with the guy.

X actually does not have REALLY awful stats but isn't that great either. About 37/10.

a: anyways back to my story now that its letting me type again....

a: i raise pre flop with 72 in the BB
a: (72o)
a: button and sb call me

a: i bet flop and one folds turn is A i bet and the other one folds

a: i show my 72 and the table goes nuts

X: i have an awesome 27 story.lol

X: do you play PP or empire

a: they have paid off EVERY hand since

a: empire

X: me to

a: i mean if someone raises me im out

a: but i bluffed it down

X: when i used to play PP when they had the 1st edition of the RCG

a: yeah?

X: the funny thing is they used simple algorithms.. and if you know anything about them.. they aren't exactly random

a: neither is the one they use now but ok

X: in the sit and gos you can read when your hand is a bad beat depending what you have within 2 spots of the small blind and where raises are

X: ...predictability

X: so i decided to go to the play money tables and test it out

a: ok lol

X: i got 72 in my spot and told everybody.. i have 27os everybody call me

X: they call me and the flop comes AK2 2 7

a: hmm

a: on a side note....
a: just a word to the wise

a: its rigged

X: lol.. really

a: OH YEAH

X: it's actually not rigged in that way

X: people get mad..

a: its rigged to favor raisers

X: rigged means that it's a particular persons favor

X: true

a: enlighten me

X: i had my friend write a progmam on this

X: imagine the flop is A 9 4.. you have A10 and they have 9 5

a: also on pokeroom

(few hands later)

X: back to that thought
X: i noticed that the flops tend to favor all the players in the hand

X: what happens is say the 9 5 raises
X: lets say he has a 10% chance of winning

X: as long as he's raising then the generator increases his odds to 20%.. it doesn't guarantee him but gives him an edge

X: i actually called them and talked to their techies about it when i quit PP

a: hmmm

X: they said the reason why it seems that there are so many big hands on each table is because there's 500+ tables going on at once...

X: so while aother ones aren't getting good hands we might be
X: if it was random you could take a look at all the hands on each table and they should get an about equal amount of pocket pairs, boats, 4 of kind, etc

X: all gaming sites keep a log of how much risk you take in certain situations

X: so if you take unecessary risk then you start going on a bad streak

X: if you take proper risk you will keep winning

X: even if the cards aren't in your favor

a: oh goodie im up again

a: on both tables

other dude: touche

X: had 22

a: sigh

a: ok pal
a: ill pay you off

X: he has 2 pair i think

(straight 5 to 9)

a: you sick sob

X: guess not.. lucky bastard

X: i once had AKs and flopped the nut flush

a: AK 3 hands in a row

X: some guy runner runnered quads

a: im so glad i didnt play Q10

X: i should've raised the moron

X: lol.. i would've against him

M: i was worried about the overpair

other dude: U shoul hail the river instead, moron

a: i'd play 94 os against him if i thought he had XXXX

x: lol

A: awsome

x: you like that

A: yeah i loved it

x: lol
x: pocket 6s?

A: ok night night time for me

X: later dude
X: buddy list me and play again sometime

a: im $5 short of +2k today

a: sure thing

X: nice

X: how many tables do you play

a: eh
a: usualy 4
a: today was mostly 2 at a time thogh

X: i've never been able to 4 table

X: i'll 1 table and go up about 800 usually

actually i did see it.
wasn't sure if it was you though....thoughts so but wasn't positive.

I had 4 tables going and was frantically trying to copy this whole conversation. I didn't want to miss any of the lines because they just seemed to be getting better and better.

i know about the 1-hand peck-typing bit from a certain cat who likes to climb into my lap or on my arm and doesn't like it if I move too much.
