Default FPP Sat Hand for the 350k

This is from a 500 FPP Sat. to Sunday's $350k on Stars. We are down to around 30 players. Top 9 get a $215 seat. Villian hasn't done anything that I've noticed as particularly good or bad.
I took a passive line here, obviously.

I like it. Another option I like is pushing the river though, he may not bet his underpair on the river.

I get very confused by preflop min-reraises, but the undersized flop and turn bets indicate a scared underpair or a monster. Classic WAWB hand, well played....

OK, after thinking about it for a bit, is there a blocking bet that we can throw out there on the river that would allow us to fold should he come back over the top? Is 1600 too small to convince him we have a king?

We've come this far and that river is not a scare card, we aren't folding the river. Only reason I see to bet is because we're afraid its getting checked behind.

I don't get it. Why would we want to block his bet? He's going to push if he has AA/KK/TT anyway. He's just going to call or maybe push if he has Kx.
What does a blocking bet accomplish there? It doesn't stop him from pushing with hands that beat us.

explain la rationale...were you responding to the wrong thread again?

I was looking for a bet that helps identify when we are beaten (ie, when he pushes), but that he still may call when behind....

you dont think he pushes with any king? You don't think he goes crazy and pushes w/ JJ?

You're not prying this hand away from me without a crowbar, some KY Jelly, and a well placed kick to the tenders.

I dunno. I hate KQ. In a buy in 50 plus I blocking bet every time, FPP I think the check call is fine. Your ahead of my defalut range which is fairly large.

By the way say congrats, I finished my last final today.
