Default 88 open-raise against Raisy McRaiserson

Villain is unknown. This is his fourth hand at this table. Did I f this up? Is there a better line?

I think you'll keep the hand more honest if you check raise the flop. Hard to know where you're at on the turn especially.

Edit: For some reason I thought you called the river. I like your line, I still would c/r this flop though.

I'm not sure if C/ring is the right play given that the SB will act after the pf raiser.

Just because I have trouble deciding when it is best to c/r the flop and bet the flop in simalar situation, can you elaborate why it is better to c/r than bet???

Because villian 3-bet PF. If Villian would've just called PF then I think a lead is correct.
