Default Bluffing with the Ducks

Villain is 35% VPIP and 5%PFR after around 30 hands.

PP NL 25 6-max

Hero is CO with black 22 ($80)
Villain is Button ($35)

Hero calls .25
Villain raises to 1
blinds fold
Hero calls .74

Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero checks
Villain bets $2
Hero raises to $6

This was to find out if it was a missed AK but then.....

Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero bets $7

Thoughts?

Default Re: Bluffing with the Ducks

Just some random thoughts:

I dont think your flop checkraise will make him fold AK (I know many players at 200nl who wouldn't fold overcards to that flop checkraise).

I don't like bluffing out of position. I have done that too much. You will have much greater succes if you have position, when you try to push a player of his hand.

If you want to bet the turn you should bet $10-12. And how do you know he doesnt have AJ?
