Default Pocket Aces, Scary Flop

I think I played this pretty well, but would like some feedback. BB had been stealing a lot, he was reasonably loose and aggressive, but I hadn't seen him move in at all, so his all in raise was a little scary.

No chance I'm folding to his raise. Looks good to me.

agreed. this looks fine.

given BB's aggressiveness, did you contemplate limping and then raising if/when he RRed you? it can be risky, but it is a nice play against certain opponents IMO.

Due to his aggressivness I expected him to re-raise my raise , in which case I would push all-in and
A) He folds I win a decent amount, or
B) He calls with a random big hand, that I'm a favorite against

Didn't workout that way, but I thought my play was reasonable.

I would have raised more preflop, probably 600-750. If I get called I'm a huge favorite, if not, I'm happy with the blinds on the bubble. I want to make the BB pay more than 2 BB to get position postflop. If I get called I'm pushing this flop instantly. If BB gets lucky so be it, you're not a huge ITM dog by losing since you're left with ~6 BB and UTG is also getting low on chips as well.

Do you not want action with your aces? I mean come on, it's not that bad to finish in 4th place every now and then.
