Default Question for the BJ Bonus Whores...

I downloaded PlanetLuck casino today and made a $100 deposit with the $100 match bonus, I have been on the best streak I have had in years, and I am just flat betting $1 chips, I am now up to $300 exactly and I exited to post this question, I have about $1000 of the required 8X let to clear ($100 deposit, $100 Bonus X 8 = $1600 in required wagers).

The Question:

Should I keep flat betting???

As it stands right now I have my $100 deposit, my $100 bonus, and $100 in winnings for a total of $300. I do not want to drop below the $200 mark because that is my deposit and my bonus amount.

What should I do??? I am trying to build back up a good bankroll to play with, since I had to make a big withdrawl last month that crippled my NeTeller account.

keep flat beating what you started betting.

You choose to bet $1 a hand. finish the WR with it.

The question is, "Do you feel lucky Punk ??"

Seriously though it's only $600 more to play. If you stay at $1 bets you'll likely finish around $300. If you bump it up to $2 or $5 you will play it off a lot faster but will also not likely finish close to the $300 mark.

So if your cool with taking the chance of finishing closer to $200 for the opportunity of ending up at $350 - $450 then bump it up. If $300 sounds good to the "rebuilding a bankroll" plan then grind out another 600 hands at $1.

Obviously wasn't telling anything you didn't already know . . .

good luck

busguy

For what it's worth . . . I'd bump it up.

Finishing it off is profitable still.
If you quit now, you will get $200
If you finish it, you will have 300 - (1000 * 0.004) = $296 or something like that (assuming a .4% HA, not sure what planet luck's is, but its not too far off)

I would too, but I'm the guy who does $25 bets when clearing the intercasino monthly bonus (smaller bets aren't worth it, per hour)

Not finishing it off would be a very dumb thing to do.

You have about 600 hands left to play at about a house advantage of approx 0.85% (assuming optimal play.) Keep playing because EV of remaining bonus = 100- 1000*(0.0085) = 92.5 -- hence if you're playing even sub-optimally you will add on to your profits by finishing the bonus. You can even up those flat bets to $2 if you want to clear it quicker (the variance will increase a bit but not too much), but don't ever start using a beting system because that's always a bad idea.

Enjoy the run and keep playing. Think of it now as a $200 bonus with a ~$1000 WR.

If you want to "lock in" your gain, stick to $1 bets...although I guess it's not really "locking in" since you got there with them.

Happy Whoring.

Oh yeah, what I would do...I'd at least bump it up to $2 bets....only sqrt(2) times more risky, but 2 times as fast. (Is this correct?)

Edit: oh yeah, finish it off...no point burning a 96 dollar bill.

It sounds like you really need the cash and want to minimize variance, so yes, keep betting $1/hand.

Why is that such an important number? Money is money. All of the $300 is yours until the casino earns it back.

Someone told me one time that if you play this way you will always have a profit...

Bet #1..................2 units if you win
Bet #2 and so on....1 unit until you lose a hand then go back to 2 units until you win a hand

They said that way you are alway locking up a profit. They figured it this way 2 units on Bet #1 yeilds 4 units on a win, Bet #2+ are 1 units, so after the Bet #1 win you have your 2 units back, 1 unit in profit, and 1 unit for the next bet.

I told them they were crazy, and that it sound like something John Patrick put in his BS Blackjack Books.

Who is right me or him???
