I would never fold JJ, even though it's a tough hand to play, I don't think I've ever played that tight. The 1st hand I would have capped it. The second hand I would have re-raised. Post flop is a whole different story. Depends on what hits the board.

JJ is a tough one for me. I'm seeing the flops in both cases. I don't think I would have capped in either case, but I'm calling the 3-bet to me in both cases and then calling the cap if that happens back to me.

First Hand:

The fact that MP3 posted a blind may have encouraged (1) MP1 to raise and (2) MP3 to recognize this and reraise without a great hand. So I would not fold but cap it.

However, against a passive (and non-posting) reraiser, I don't think folding is a bad move. You are out of position and you can't feel comfortable with any flop (except e.g. J85).

JJ is seriously an amazing hand. It figures to make a set on about 12% of the flops, and holds up against other raising hands like Ak AQs a good portion of the time. I know people make laydowns like this in no limit, but don't here - not ever. The expert laydown is one of the biggest leaks you can have here at the low limits.

You can't be doing shiit like this. JJ is a premium holding. It has excellent pot equity preflop. You basicaly just threw money away. Cap this every time.

Hand 1 - I may just call this because of your position and see what happens behind you.

Hand 2 - Reads on opponent's raising standards? I'm capping most of the time here.
