Default Too many fish?

Okay, I'm playing .25/.50 tables at Pacific.

The problem I'm running into is that those seeing the flop is running about 70%, and if they hit anything or get any time of draw, they stay till river.

At least every hand, there's several chasing a flush draw, a straight draw, or bottom pair on flop ends up hitting 3 of a kind on river.

What's the strategy when almost everyone chases to river and you're holding top pair, or 3 of a kind, and it's 4th street and 2 suited are showing, and half the table is still in. They all check to you, so you can't raise their bet, and if you bet, you just get calls... no chance of capping or making it costly for them to chase.

The list is endless.....
Trips - busted to flush
Trips - busted to straight
Big Slick pair busted to 3 of a kind (one 6 on flop, other on river with AK on board.
Flush busted out to a boat on river. (I flopped the nut flush, and presented that I had it the best I could).
Pocket Queens hitting a set busted out on river to a gutshot straight.

They just will not fold until they've seen all the cards

Well, when they check to you, you've got two choices. Check or bet. If you don't like betting, then consider the merits of the only other option.

get a virus and send it to their computer that forces them to continue to bet/raise when they have nothing and to auto-fold when ever they have something...at least that's how i keep winning

If you don't know the answer you are as "fish" as (or worse) they are.

It's incredibly frustrating when you have a serious downturn against very weak players, but you have to cope with it and adjust your game. TPTK is just not going to hold up very often. It's a game of draws - which unfortunately is a high variance game.

I like playing Axs/Kxs from everywhere in games like that as long as it's not too aggressive pre-flop. Some of the smaller pocket pairs also go up in value.

IMO, you just have to get used to having a low winning percentage and getting your pocket AAs and KKs busted a lot or move to a more moderate game.

Nah, go to the Cryptos or Absolute. Nobody calls with anything there. You'll be much happier dragging down 2 BB pots rather than 20 BB pots.
