Default KQ vs possible CO steal, flops middle pair, check/call?

Paradise Poker $2/4 --- ten handed

Table flop seen percentage is 18%.

To hell with table selection.

6 folds, CO raises, Button folds, AC calls with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] from the SB (reraise?), BB folds.

(5 SB)
2 players ---FLOP: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

AC checks, CO bets, AC calls.

A defend from the SB should pretty much always be a raise.

As a general rule, you should 3-bet any hand that you decide to defend with from the SB (sometimes just call with AA for example). If you have soemthing like KQo/ATo in the SB, you would much rather just play against the CO then against both the BB and the CO since your hand will win UI more often against just one opponent. You give yourself the best chance of getting HU by 3-betting.

The lone exception is when the BB is so loose that he won't fold. In this case, you should only 3-bet with stronger hands.

others have commented on preflop suggestions. from there i like this suggestion. villain might be raising with a wide range of hands and flop is a continuation bet.
